The Kasubi Tombs is located along Masiro road, Kampala Uganda. They serve as burial grounds for four Kabakas (Kings of Buganda) and other members of the Buganda royal family.

The Kasubi tombs are divided into three main areas: Bujjabukula, the ancient gatehouse at the site’s entry; Olugya, the main courtyard; and Muzibu Azaala Mpanga, the former palace and current royal mausoleum that houses the last four Buganda rulers.
Bamboo, wood, thatch, reed, wattle, and daub are among the natural materials used to make the tombs. The Tomb building is round with a dome on top. A typical of traditional African architecture.
The tombs were extensively damaged by fire in 2010, but they have been mostly rebuilt and are now open to the public, making it a prominent tourist attraction site.
